Hypothetical example: a Conception Bay South subsea technician is offered a role with an American operator, and the household begins assembling the offer letter and the qualifications. What nobody has mentioned is that eleven years ago he was turned around at a border crossing after a confused conversation about a job he had not yet been offered. That episode exists in a record somewhere, and it will be visible to the officer reading this application. The first task in this household is not the employer's paperwork but the applicant's own history, written down accurately and in order.

Live the next chapter. Work. Build. Invest. Make your move.
THERE’S MORE THAN ONE WAY FORWARD.

THE DREAM IS YOURS.
LET’S FIND THE WAY.

The six routes described here answer different questions. TN covers prearranged professional employment for Canadian and Mexican citizens in professions the agreement names. L-1A and L-1B move an existing employee within a company that already spans the border. E-2 belongs to a treaty national who commits capital to an operating American business and directs it. EB-5 is an immigrant investment route carrying a job-creation obligation and a conditional residence period. The Gold Card is a separate official framework built on a gift to the U.S. government. Which one applies is decided by facts about citizenship, employment, ownership and money, and by each applicant's own admissibility.

A professional offer, checked against your record

Both halves have to work: the classification and the person.

Selections stay in this page session; no personal documents are collected here.

FOR PEOPLE WHO SEE A LITTLE FURTHER.

YOU WEREN’T
MADE TO
THINK SMALL.

Write your history before you write anything else: every previous entry to the United States and its purpose, every application made and its outcome, any occasion when entry was refused, an application was withdrawn, or a question was asked that you could not answer. Include the dates as accurately as you can and note where you are uncertain. Do the same for each adult in the household. A history that is disclosed clearly and consistently is a manageable fact; the same history discovered by an officer from a record the applicant appeared to have forgotten is a much harder conversation.

THE BIG MOVE. BROKEN DOWN.

FROM “ONE DAY”
TO YOUR NEXT STEP.

Personal support.
A practical plan.
No promises we can’t keep.

01

Write your own record first

Every entry, application, refusal or withdrawal, with dates, for each adult in the household.

02

Mark what you cannot remember

Uncertainty recorded honestly is workable. A confident wrong date is not.

03

Add the offer or the business facts

Employer, duties, ownership, capital and who controls the work, in documents rather than description.

04

Get both assessed together

Admissibility and classification are separate questions and a plan needs an answer to each.

A LITTLE CLARITY GOES A LONG WAY.

YOUR FUTURE.
NOW BOARDING.

Bring that history to a consultation together with the offer. Some earlier events have no continuing effect at all, some require explanation, and a few change which route is realistic. Only a review of the actual facts can tell you which. It is far better to learn this while a start date is still being negotiated than at a border with a resignation already tendered and a household waiting for news.

SUPPORT THAT REACHES YOU.
A BIGGER HORIZON.

Shneur Herman, Jo Kubti and Alexander Paton work with Conception Bay South households remotely; there is no office to visit and no local appointment to book. Send the offer or business documents, your written history and a list of what you are unsure about. Consultation arrangements and the scope of the review are agreed in writing beforehand, so it is clear what has been assessed and what remains open.

BEFORE THE BIG MOVE

LET’S CLEAR
A FEW THINGS UP.

Does an old refusal at the border prevent an application now?

Not necessarily. What matters is what actually happened, what record exists and why. It should be established and addressed rather than left unexamined.

Should past events be volunteered if nobody asks?

Applications and admissions involve direct questions, and answers must be truthful and complete. Prepare the accurate account rather than deciding in the moment.

Does working remotely for an American company require United States status?

Where the work is performed matters. Remote work from Canada raises different questions from the same work performed on American soil, and the distinction should be checked for your facts.

Is there an office to attend?

No. Consultations are conducted remotely and documents are exchanged electronically.
