Whatever the official programme page states, and nothing beyond it. The framework's eligibility, process and outcome are published by the government and should be read directly.
Write down what the page says, and mark the rest unknown
The most common failure with a newer framework is filling gaps with expectations imported from familiar categories. Avoid it mechanically. Open the official page, and write two lists.
The first records what the material states about eligibility, about the amounts, about the process, about the underlying immigrant category and about family members, in the government's own words. The second records everything the household has assumed that the page does not confirm: whether a spouse could work, how long a decision takes, what happens if circumstances change, whether anything is refundable. The second list is the agenda for advice.
Nothing on it should be treated as settled until it is answered from an official source. Record the date of the reading, because the framework's published terms can be updated and the version relied on is a material fact.
